Agnieszka Holland – an internationally acclaimed film director and screenwriter born in Warsaw in 1948. A graduate of FAMU in Prague, she made her feature film debut with Provincial Actors (1978), one of the landmark works of Poland’s “Cinema of Moral Anxiety” movement. She gained international recognition with films such as Europa Europa, which won a Golden Globe and received an Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay. She also earned Oscar nominations for Angry Harvest and In Darkness in the Best Foreign Language Film category. Holland has also directed acclaimed television productions, including episodes of The Wire, Treme and House of Cards.

Milenia Fiedler – film editor, lecturer, and Rector of Lodz Film School. She graduated in film editing from FAMU in Prague and has worked as an editor on numerous feature films, documentaries, and television series. She collaborated with Andrzej Wajda on Katyń (Academy Award nomination in 2008), Sweet Rush (Alfred Bauer Prize at the Berlinale 2009), and Wałęsa: Man of Hope.

Kuba Mikurda – film director and film scholar. Creator of the award-winning documentaries Love Express. The Disappearance of Walerian Borowczyk (2018), Escape to the Silver Globe (2021), and Solaris Mon Amour (2023). Lecturer at the Łódź Film School.

Olga Brzezińska – a respected cultural manager, European Studies scholar, university lecturer, and expert with extensive experience in management, strategy-building, and international programming. She serves as Deputy Director of the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, where she is responsible for the global programme and strategy as well as key international projects, including the UK/Poland Season 2025 and the International Cultural Programme of Poland’s Presidency of the Council of the EU. She is also the Programme Director of the Leadership Academy for Poland, a prestigious leadership development initiative.
